I moved to Vermont in 1980 and have primarily lived in Lamoille County though I retired in 2024 to a small cabin in Craftsbury, Vermont. I spent most of my career in the nonprofit world doing a variety of human service jobs ranging from community mental health to domestic and sexual violence programs, to disability rights and working for the VT Center for Crime Victim Services and the VT Department for Children and Families. 

      I love to walk my dog Finn, and enjoy hiking, snowshoeing and biking on the Rail Trail. I recently started spending part of the winter in North Carolina and plan to build a cabin on some property that I bought in Highlands, NC in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest. 

      I bring a wealth of experience in the art of grant writing and fundraising which I hope will help United Way of Lamoille County reach their fundraising goals.
