Family Supportive Housing Program

The Family Supportive Housing Program (FSH) is a participant-engaged permanent supportive housing program for homeless or at-risk families with minor children in Lamoille County. The program includes individualized, family-centered case management services. Each family will work one-on-one with a FSH coordinator towards achieving set goals developed by the family with their ‘team’ of other service providers. The goal of the FSH program is to work with families to address obstacles or challenges regarding housing needs, acquire stable housing, and provide support and services.

From May of 2024 to May of 2025 our FSH Program has served 23 families who were literally homeless or at Imminent risk of homelessness. During this time sixteen of these families have secured housing or avoided eviction from their current housing. One single mother is in the process of becoming a homeowner in the very near future.

Over the last year we have worked hard to build trusting, working relationships with local landlords. These relationships have provided housing opportunities for those with no rental history, bad credit, unfavorable rental history, and criminal backgrounds.
