Amanda Tingaud, Firewood Project & Volunteer Center Coordinator

Amanda moved to Vermont in 2010 and has made Cambridge her home.  She has held several positions over the years but one thing remains the same is her dedication to leadership and being a team player.  Amanda graduated from Marywood University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Design and Photography with a minor in coaching. It is her love of sports that has fueled her passion for teaching our youth through athletics.  Over the years she has coached at Lamoille Union Middle School, Lamoille Union High School, Peoples Academy and Vermont State University at Johnson. 

In Amanda’s current role she is the Firewood and Volunteer coordinator at United Way of Lamoille County, she facilitates volunteerism in the community and helps manage volunteers throughout the firewood process from logs, to splitting, and final delivery of firewood to community members in need. 

Previously Amanda was the Program Coordinator for the Vermont Woodworking School and Burlington College. Currently manages the Cambridge Community Center, is a Supervisor at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Amanda also volunteers with Cambridge Youth Soccer, Cambridge Basketball Association, Cambridge Rec Board Chair and has served as the Cambridge Flood Relief Center coordinator.
