April Tuck, Board Member
April Tuck and her husband, Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate have made Vermont their home since 1997. April started her career as a speech-language pathologist before finding her way into management. Because she thought Human Resources meant she would be a resource for humans, she transitioned into the field and never looked back. Now, April serves as a labor relations and human resources professional, working with organizations to create more vibrant and dynamic workplaces.
She is a dedicated community member, having served on a variety of boards and social service groups over the years. As well, April is on the faculty of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and her specific area of interest has taken her to such areas as Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Ron and April are passionate about travel, which means they find themselves in some pretty far flung and memorable places.
When at home in Cambridge, April enjoys gardening, spending time with friends, spoiling her cats and pony, and being entertained by the Friendly Pirate.
