Gathering restrictions explained

Gathering restrictions explained

Schools and other screeners will now ask adults and children if they have attended any gathering that included people from other households. If students have attended gatherings that include people from other households, schools can ask them to switch to remote learning for fourteen days. This means that any families who attend a Thanksgiving dinner with anyone outside their home will be asked to quarantine with the same guidelines used for travel outside the state. If people don't follow the executive order restricting multi-household gatherings, the state has estimated we will see another 3200-3800 cases solely due to Thanksgiving. The state's guidanceĀ is clear: If you don't share a front door, don't share a turkey.
