MORRISTOWN, VT – July 28, 2025 – To our valued community partners and clients, United Way of Lamoille County is announcing a pause in our resource coordination and navigation services, effective immediately and until further notice. This difficult decision has been made due to current funding and staffing limitations that prevent us from effectively implementing this critically important function within our community.
We understand the significant impact that resource coordination and navigation has on our residents, and we want to assure our partners and the community that this pause is not taken lightly. We remain committed to supporting Lamoille County, and we are actively working to secure the necessary funding and resources to reinstate this service as soon as possible.
In the meantime we will continue to send out our weekly resource newsletter, maintain the resource page on our website and put out blog posts and social media about current events. To have resources included in the newsletter, website or social media, please email information to resources@uwlamoille.org. If people call our office looking for support, we will direct them to 211 or our resource page.
We appreciate your understanding and continued partnership as we navigate this challenge. We will provide updates to the community as information becomes available regarding the resumption of these services.
