Hope Valiska
Hope Valiska moved from Connecticut to Vermont in late 2020, with the goal of raising her two daughters in a small community similar to that of her college town of Farmington, Maine. She found that community in Jeffersonville (Cambridge).
Shortly after moving, Hope volunteered on the board of directors for the local library hoping to meet others and help where she was able. This work inspired a new passion for using her 20+ years of experience in finance and accounting to help small non-profits and their leaders balance the mission with the money. She joined the United Way of Lamoille County Board of Directors in late 2024, and now serves as Treasurer of the Board and Chair of the Finance Committee.
At home, Hope enjoys spending time with her daughters, working on puzzles and crafts, singing karaoke, and playing with her Border Collie and Bernese Mountain Dog.
