The Economic Stimulus Equity Fund is a Vermont state program to give direct stimulus payments to people living in Vermont who were left out of the federal program because of their immigration status or the immigration status of their spouse. Several community-based organizations are distributing payments, and undocumented Vermont residents can choose the organization they trust to receive checks or cash. No one need fear harassment or deportation due to registering for this program.
