Good morning!
I’m writing on behalf of a group of grassroots flood responders to share an exciting new resource we’ve built in the last year: The Resilience Hub Toolkit.
We started working on this toolkit after the 2024 floods, with the knowledge that preparedness is easier when relevant resources are already organized, and disaster is less disruptive if we organize beforehand. This tool is for communities, municipalities, and anyone else interested in building community-based resilience before, during, and after disaster.
The Resilience Hub Toolkit lives on an online/offline interface at resiliencetoolkit.org; you can download the whole Toolkit at resiliencetoolkit.org/downloads. We will also be printing the toolkit; reach out to resiliencetoolkit@gocros.org to get copies or for consultation on using the toolkit in your community.
Organizers and groups that produced the toolkit can offer facilitation, strategic planning, fiscal sponsorship, and technical assistance on how to launch a Resilience Hub. We want to hear your questions and help you use this tool!
The toolkit is licensed under Creative Commons (CC-BY-NC-SA); you can use this resource for free, remix and add to it, and share it, but it cannot be used to generate profit. Please share the Toolkit with your networks by sending the link or reposting social media content from @nekorganizing, @ruralvermont, and @cooperation.vermont.
We hope you find this resource useful, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
Best,
Lena
