On 4/16/26 there are 36 households who are at risk of becoming homeless, and 70 households are literally homeless in Lamoille County. In total, there are 140 adults and 54 children who are at risk of or are currently experiencing literal homelessness in Lamoille County. 


Sharing Priority

Become an EV Charging Site Host

  • Federal funding will be awarded to pre-qualified providers to install EV charging equipment at locations that meet specific criteria.

 Business Funding

Double incentives for Business energy efficiency upgrades: For a limited time, businesses can double their custom incentive for energy efficiency projects. 

  • Up to an additional $25k bonus for businesses, nonprofits, farm operations, and institutions that complete projects by November 2026.

Funding for VT Farm, Food & Forestry Sectors

  • VT Loggers & Foresters: Temporary Skidder Bridge Cost-share Grants: Check for eligibility and apply by Apr 30th. 

  • SLoCAMP Grant for Loggers - Deadline Extended! Grant offers significant cost share benefits for logging contractors working on harvest sites in Vermont. 

    • Eligible practices include road hardening, skid trail improvements, and stream crossings. 

    • Learn more and start your application. 

    • Projects must be complete by Nov 30th. 

    • $224k in funding is still available!

  • Agriculture Grants: The VT Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets maintains a website of grants, loans, and financial assistance that targets specific agricultural needs. 

 

Community

Take Back the Night: an empowering event that brings survivors, supporters, activists, and community leaders together in a call to end sexual assault.

  • 4/29

  • Clothesline Project: visual representation of sexual assault in our community. Sexual assault survivors, and those affected by sexual assault, use words and/or artwork to decorate t-shirts which are then hung on a clothesline. Materials will be provided or you can bring your shirt on the 29th.

  • 5–6pm: pre-event sign making at the Morrisville Oxbow Park

  • 6pm: march up the street to the Union Bank gazebo. At the gazebo, hear from speakers and participate in the Clothesline

  • Fish Painting Craft - 5/14, 3:30pm - No sign-up required. Learn about Gyotaku, the historical practice of "fish printing" and tying it to species diversity in the Lake Champlain Basin with rubber models of fish species! Will be messy!

Tweens & Teens

  • Babysitting Class -. 5/6, 5/13, 5/19 (Tues) & 5/27, 5pm - Sign up to learn skills and gain confidence to be a babysitter. Ages 12+.
