WELCOME to the United Way of Lamoille County (UWLC) website!
Many of you may already know that our agency has
seen some major changes in the past decade. When our organization was formed
in 1986, it's original mission was to
raise money for important community programs. While we still
provide this important service, we are also now involved in
countless local initiatives that help make our community a better place
to live, work and raise a family. Here are some of the projects and councils in which
we are involved:

We also fund programs run by other agencies. All funded programs
have been identified as meeting a critical need in our community.

The local programs we fund have been identified by the community as
meeting a critical need. We get information on needs from
Vermont
2-1-1, United Ways information and referral program. This information,
combined with other local data, help to drive our funding decisions.

We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to TD Banknorth’s
Morrisville branch. The bank provides us with free office space which
allows us to keep our expenses low. We have beautiful, spacious and
sunny offices here at the bank, plus a place to hold meetings. Feel free to stop by for a visit.
If, at any time, you have a question about how our
organization is run, how donations are used in the community, or any
other matter, please feel free to contact me.
